Move a sheet 1 pixel. The world moves 10.

Moiré Surf is a tiny paper puzzle-platformer built on a real optical trick. Two striped sheets overlap, and their interference makes big dark bands. Nudge the top sheet a little and the bands sweep ten times faster. You can stand on them.

Ride them up like an elevator. Tilt the sheet and they turn into ramps. Flick it hard and they throw you across the room.

This is a free demo with 12 levels.

- Shift plates: the bands rise and fall 10× faster than your drag

- Tilt plates: 1° of tilt turns the bands 10°

- Slingshot plates: aim with a tilt, then flick to get thrown

- Hand-made paper look, all drawn in code

Controls

- ← → / A D: walk · Space / W: jump

- Mouse drag up/down: move the nearest plate

- E or right-click: switch shift ↔ tilt

- R: restart · Esc: menu · M: mute

- Phone: on-screen buttons, drag anywhere to move the plate (play in landscape)

I want your feedback. I'm testing whether this idea is worth a full game. When you finish, the end screen lets you rate it and post your thoughts to me on X in one click, or leave a comment below.
